Hillary takes on the sexists

Just as with hatred toward Obama, some people are determined never to give Hillary Clinton credit for anything she says or does. In response to this perfectly reasonable and decent statement from her today, on a subject on which she has decades of experience, some people on Twitter called her phony, or complained that she took time off after the election, or brought up GOP talking points from 20 years ago. For God’s sake people, have some dignity and knock it off. This implacable hatred cannot be justified. It floors me that people cannot let go of their unreasoning, cherry-picked hatred of Obama and Clinton even now. I admire Hillary’s endurance as well as her public service. She is smart, experienced, and sane, none of which is true of Trump. Anyone who helped Trump get elected should by now at the very least be giving us embarrassed silence.
