Defending Gay Families in Washington, D.C.

Talking points for meetings with members of Congress
Prepared by the Gay and Lesbian Activists Alliance
May 16, 2004

[Note: In light of the same-sex marriage controversy and the upcoming congressional consideration of the annual D.C. appropriations bill, which historically has been the target of anti-gay congressional amendments, GLAA prepared these talking points as a resource for lobbying members of Congress on behalf of gay families and self-determination for the District.]
