Here’s looking at you: the District of Columbia from space

Isn’t this lovely? We can hardly expect to hide from marauding extraterrestrials if we allow our fair city to twinkle so brightly. Please do not take this offhand comment as a suggestion that the D.C. Council seek to improve our security by mandating efforts to decrease what might be called our spaceprint of luminosity.
