GLAA is proud to share A Loving Community: GLAA Policy Brief 2024.
This brief reflects the work and dedication of DC’s grassroots movements. The included priorities are concrete proposals to meet essential human needs and to promote thriving neighborhoods. We continue to emphasize that racial and economic justice are LGBTQ justice issues. This year we maintain our focus on topics that affect the most marginalized members of the LGBTQ community–those who suffer from poverty, homelessness, criminalization, discrimination, social isolation, and preventable death.
We will use our policy brief as an outline for our election year questionnaire for candidates running for council positions. We look forward to continuing our work together to advance these priorities for our community
