Dear Ms. Baskerville
I am happy to send you confirmation that the Gay and Lesbian Activists Alliance of Washington, DC regards the DC Primary Care Association as an organization worthy of support.
GLAA is the oldest continuously active gay rights organization in the United States. We are an all volunteer, local, non-partisan advocacy and government watchdog group. We have been working for over three years to bring the DC HIV/AIDS Administration (HAA) into compliance with the law and pressure them into revealing their contracts and spending as is required by DC law.
We look forward to collaborating with your organization on your efforts to make HAA more transparent and accountable to the citizens and taxpayers of the District.
Your organization an invaluable resource and ally in our efforts to bring public attention to the problems at the HIV/AIDS Administration. The daily emails to thousands of people enhance these efforts.
A useful thing that the DCPCA does is follow up on all of the details that we are often not able to address as volunteers.
Good Luck Sharon, on all your work and the continued efforts of DCPCA to coalesce the efforts of so many who care deeply about improving the health of DC's lower income residents.
Sincerely,
Kevin Davis
President
