This is a Benefits update for PHI employees:
Effective July 1, 2007, PHI will provide Domestic Partner Benefits to its employees. Benefits will include Medical, Prescription, Mental Health, Dental, and Vision. More details will be shared shortly. PHI defines Domestic Partners as two people who are:
- Living together in the same household for at least 18 months
- Not married to anyone else and not the domestic partner of anyone else
- Not related by blood to a point that would prohibit marriage
- At least 18 years old and mentally competent to enter into a legal contract
- Jointly responsible for each other’s basic living expenses.
Offering Domestic Partner benefits is consistent with PHI's commitment to respect diversity, value all employees and be an employer of choice in order to enhance our ability to recruit and retain the talent needed to meet our business goals.
